Punjab Scholarship 2025: How to Apply Online and Check Eligibility

There is good news for all the students of Punjab who belong to the Minority\OBC\SC community. The government of Punjab has started Punjab Scholarship 2025 in which various types of scholarships are included based on post-matric and pre-matric courses for different communities. Under this Punjab Scholarship 2025 selected students will be able to receive financial assistance which covers all their educational expenses for school and college. This Punjab Scholarship is proved a big sigh of relief for all the students who are financially weak and cannot afford the expenses of their education.

About Punjab Scholarship

Punjab Government has released Punjab Scholarship 2025 for all the backward community students of Punjab in which various scholarship schemes are covered. According to the sources the Government of Punjab has released 183 crore rupees under the Punjab Scholarship 2025 for the post matric students who enrolled in post matric sc community scholarship. The amount of the scholarship fund will be transferred to the institutions. Selected students will be eligible to collect their scholarship funds through their institution directly into their bank account.

• According to the Punjab Government, 40% amount will be released to the institutions. Previously the scholarship amount will be released for the academic year 2017 but now the students from academic year 2017 to 2020 will be eligible for the Punjab Scholarship 2025.

The objective of Punjab Scholarship

The main purpose of Punjab Scholarship 2025 is to offer financial help to all the backward community students of Punjab to help them with their schooling or college fees. It will improve the education quality of the state and decrease the rate of group-out students. For many students paying their school fees is very tough because of their family’s financial condition, and this will lead to the dropout of talented students.

Rewards under the Punjab Scholarship

Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme	Students who receive 60% to 70% on their class 10 final exam will receive a 70% cost waiver. An 80% fee waiver will be given to class 10 students who earned 70% to 80% of the possible points. While class 10 pupils who get 80% to 90% of the possible points will receive a 90% fee waiver 90% to 100% of the fees will be waived for class 10 students.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities	A monthly maintenance payment of Rs. 600 for students in classes 6 through 10 Monthly maintenance payments of Rs. 100 are given to day students in grades 1 through 10. Class 6 through 10 require a Rs. 500 annual or actual admission fee. a monthly or annual tuition price of 350 rupees for classes six through ten
Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities	The annual admissions and tuition price is Rs. 10,000. upkeep allowance of Rs. 1200 per month for guests and Rs. 550 per month for day scholars for a period of 10 months.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Minorities	For hostellers, the maintenance allowance is Rs. 1000 per month. For a period of 10 months, day scholars will pay Rs. 550 per month. Course costs for both day scholars and hostlers are Rs. 20,000.
Attendance Scholarship for the BC EBC and Primary Girl Student in Punjab	For 10 months, each student will receive Rs. 50 per month.

Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Scholarship

Applicants from class 11th to post-graduation level will be eligible for the scholarship. Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students	Applicants from class 9th to 10th standard will be eligible for the scholarship. The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than Rs. 2.50 lakh Any applicant who enrolls in a centrally funded scholarship is ineligible.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students	Applicants from class 9th to 10th standard will be eligible for the scholarship. The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than Rs. 50,000
Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities	Applicants must belong to minority communities like Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Christian, etc. Applicants from class 9th to 10th standard will be eligible for the scholarship. The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than Rs. 1 lakh. Students should score at least 50% marks in their academics.
Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities	Girl students who are enrolled in the primary class score at least 75% marks. These children’s parents shouldn’t be paying income taxes. Their land should be no larger than 5 acres.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Minorities	Girl students who are enrolled in primary class and score at least 75% marks. These children’s parents shouldn’t be paying income taxes. Their land should be no larger than 5 acres.
Attendance Scholarship for the BC EBC and Primary Girl Student in Punjab	Applicants must belong to minority communities like Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Christian, etc. Applicants from class 9th to 10th standard will be eligible for the scholarship.
