The Ministry of Education (MEC) has officially opened applications for the ProUni 2025 – Second Semester round. Students across Brazil now have a new chance to earn full or partial scholarships at private universities.

Application Dates (June 30 to July 4, 2025)
According to the official ProUni 2025/2 public notice (Edital No. 14/2025), applications are open from June 30 to July 4, 2025, exclusively through the Acesso Único Portal.
Basic requirements:

You must have taken the ENEM exam in 2023 or 2024

Achieved a minimum average score of 450 points and did not score zero in the essay

Studied in public school (or as a full scholarship student in private schools), and meet one of the following:

Low-income household
-
Identified as PCD (person with disability)

Self-declared Black, Indigenous, Brown

Public school teachers applying for pedagogy or teaching-related courses

Types of Scholarships Offered

Full Scholarships (100%): for families with monthly income per person ≤ 1.5 minimum wage (~R$ 2,277)

Partial Scholarships (50%): for families with income per person ≤ 3 minimum wages (~R$ 4,554)
More than 870 higher education institutions are participating, offering courses in Law, Administration, Nursing, Pedagogy, and many others.
